The trail winds up the mountains, following the ridgeline as often as possible. The view into both the Verzasca and Maggia valley are beautiful on the 24 km hike with over 2000 meters of ascent. When I finally arrive at Capanna Alpe Spluga, I’m very tired and glad for the rest.
