I continue along the lake and a canal until I reach Troyes, a town with a well kept city center, lots of half-timbered houses, a huge cathedral and nice parks.
I ride along the canal du Seine, between the Seine and various other rivers joining her. The sun is out, the road is excellent and progress is good, until, the cycle path along the river stops being one and turns into a single trail. Also very nice, but not as fast.
Back onto normal roads and through a couple of nice villages, I continue broadly along the Seine, until 7, when I stop for the night, just 65km before my goal.
