In beautiful summer weather I cross the Firth of Forth at Queensferry over the 2 km long Forth road bridge. The three bridges spanning the bay are all impressive with the red railroad bridge being the most striking to look at.

The road along the hilly coast of Fife has quite a bit of traffic and the cycle paths are not always clearly recognisable as such. Still, the great weather and landscape more than make up for the busy road.

After Kirkcaldy I pass along the Leven Link Golf Course on a narrow, sandy trail before stopping at Woodland Camping for the night.
