After a loud but otherwise undisturbed night along the roaring river I wake with the sunrise. The river valley is filled with fog, which makes the morning all beautifully soft and quiet. The weather clears up until Eleven and it turns out to be a fine day. After Montbelliard I meet Lennart from Tübingen with whom I ride most of the day. We go along The Doubs and the Rhine-Rhone canal until Mulhouse.
From there we go northwards until we part ways in Neuf-Brisach after having had some final French pastries together.
I ride on home, finishing my Tour de France with a 120 km day.
