I ride along the Adda river today, basically from where I start just after Cremona to Merate, at the edge of the northern Italian lakes. This is a real river, with blue, clean water, and enough of it to swim.

The roads and paths are very mixed again today. A very few busy road sections, quite a few bike paths in and between towns, fantastic trail section from Lodi to Rivolta, a great winding path along the river and a canal near Trezo lead into the village roads to Como with a suprise trail section trown in.

I reach Como in the early evening, enjoy an ice cream by the lake and then continue over the border to Lugano. I was faster than expected, so now the Alps await.
